It all began when my mother helped me sew an apron for my first 4-H project when I was just a young girl. I received 1st place for my apron and that was all it took. I was hooked. I now had an inspiration to continue sewing.
Many years later in 2008, my son and daughter-in-law were expecting my first grandchild. As soon as I learned that I was going to be a grandmother I knew I had to invest in my first monogram machine. With a new monogram machine safely tucked away into a spare-room-turning-sewing-design-studio, I could not only create items for my grandson, but I now had friends who were interested in the gifts and monogramming I created. Thus Oopsy Daisy began. Now we are expecting a granddaughter and I am so elated that I finally get to design & created outfits for a girl in the family!
